IC INFORMATION
Character name: Miguel Simmons
Character Description: A tall 6'5 broad young man outfitted in a ODST rig painted black with red highlights. With a Jamaican Accent.
Character Backstory: Miguel Simmons was born on a small colonized world in the year 2500 and was raised in a large city of Lagos. As he grew up in the city he was introduced to many different styles of life but one stood out to him more than the rest. Which was the UNSC considering his mother and father both came from that line of work he considered it only right for him to follow in the footsteps of them. Due to this he was trained from a fairly young age of 15 to learn how to find one on one and against multiple people unarmed. But due to a mistake of the UNSC one day he became disconnected from his family due to them being transported off world due to them being deserters of the UNSC. Due to this he made it his goal to train harder and get himself enlisted into the UNSC to hopefully figure out what happened to his parents and where they were taken to. Once he reached the age of 19 he enlisted into the UNSC struggling with most aspects of the life as he had never been accustomed to such a strict regime. His first year was tough but only having one confrontation in battle with a insurgent group where he was injured but luckily recovered without prolonged injuries afterwards. Thanks to a squad of the ODSTs coming into help him and his team of marines with the insurgent forces. Due to that he was then interested in becoming an ODST as he hoped it would not only fulfill him but maybe help him to. During his time in the academy he met a man by the name of Daniel Perlmutter who would help him survive his time in the academy. He would become close with Daniel over the course of the academy. Once they were both out of academy they found out they were put into the 63rd Viper Division together.
Demonstrate proper roleplay for this character: Simmons would recover himself before returning fire from behind the pelican he would then briefly pause before recovering himself fully then begin moving towards the rear door of the pelican where he would find his squad as well as a portable M247 GMG he would waste no time pushing past his squad mates as they recovered to retrieve the M247. He would crouch down and bend it over his shoulder cradling it between his head, shoulder, and arm. He would then push out of the pelican with his squad making sure to push past them with enough space to get a clear shot. He would then fold the stand down for the M247 while ducking behind it trying to avoid fire while his team retaliated. Once he had the gun up he would proceed to aim it towards the enemy insurgents and begin laying down suppressive fire so that his team could push pack farther away from that crash site. Once they pushed back farther to get to a position of cover and suppress he would take the weapon and begin to fold it while ducking down as to not be shot by either side. Then he would slide the M247 behind him on the ground while ducking until he got back to the fortified position.
