Roleplay Experience: I've been RPing since like middle school at this point, so like over a decade total. When it comes to Halo specifically, I have been a part of a few servers over the years; probably about 2 or 3 years of experience total.

What role are you applying for: Combat Engineer, specifically I was looking to play the role of a grenadier rather than a true Combat Engineer with the usage of the M319 from Halo Reach though I'm not opposed to giving the role of Combat Engineer a shot either. Maybe with a focus on EOD.
Do you understand that with this application you are to act according to your preferred character's In Character limitations (IE. ODST aren't average grunts and are held to a higher standard of ethics and personal action. ): Yes

Character name: Vera West
Character Description: 162cm/68kg/Blue Eyes/White, well-maintained hair that reaches her neck/ODST-Standard BDU/ODST Helmet with Polarized Helmet/IFAK Strapped to left thigh/M6C kept in magnetic holster located at right thigh/
Character Backstory: Vera was born on Luna, specifically the city of Crisium City. A natural born city girl, Vera was the daughter of a pair of musicians- the two being part of a small time punk rock band that was somewhat successful enough to provide a middle class lifestyle for the girl. Little can be said of her life prior to her joining the UNSC other than her in public schooling. Vera enlisted into the Marines of the UNSC when she turned 18, with an unremarkable record for the following two years until her performance during an encounter with Insurrectionists earned her a recommendation for transfer to ODST and subsequent training. An IED detonated under a warthog convoy; damaging or destroying a majority of the vehicles and killing half of the soldiers a part of it. Vera sustained a broken leg, with the rest of her squad either unfit to retaliate or dead. She, alongside a handful of Marines, managed to hold off the assaulting Insurrectionist forces by way of grenades, flanking, and brutal CQC combat as Pelicans rushed to rescue them. By the end of the conflict she received two bullet wounds to the right shoulder and left thigh, a broken right leg, and a concussion. Though due to her bravery, a chance to transfer to the Helljumpers was made availible.
It was a lot more pay too.

"Vera." A voice came from the commlink installed within the woman's helmet. "We've got a possible explosive that needs disposing. Marine found a wire tracing the eastern road."
The ODST placed a hand at her waist, ensuring the small container filled with her tools was where she needed them. "Copy. On my way." She replied as she hurried her way to the site in question. A small group of marines were huddled together, hidden behind bits of debris or the vehicles themselves. It was clear the didn't wish to be caught in the blast. One of them gestured to the red wire, currently running above the dusty road before her. She travelled carefully, her eyes scanning for signs of a crushwire; exposed wire that would cause detonation of the exposed copper strands were connected. Her fingers trailed the wire as she treaded lightly. Careful. Step by step. Her knees began to ache but she kept her steady pace.
Slowly, the wire came to a close; only about 100 feet from where the marines currently stood. "Found a potential source." She radio'd as her hand reached into the dirt; gripping onto something cold and metallic. Cylindrical. She brushed the dirt off of it, revealing a small bombs from a Shortsword Bomber currently wired together. "Shit." This was far from good. Delicately, she lowered herself down and was able to kneel. Her eyes scanned the small collection; noting the wires that connected them; with a bundle of duct tape and god knows what else keeping them all together. One of them had to be what contained the blasting cap; it would be a waste of resources to put on in each of them. She unzipped her pouch, pulling a pair of pliers from them as she lowered herself to her stomach and looked deeper into the various payloads before her. Nope. Not that one. That one is free. Aha! The winner. Her flashlight caught the glimmer of a blasting cap. Her fingers moved carefully, cautiously towards the wire; pliers in hand. "Here we are..come on.." She held her breath. SNAP. The wire was cut.
She remained. She extracted the blasting cap from its payload as she slowly stood up. "IED disabled."
--Grenadier---
"Turret nest, second floor!" Was called out, the sounds of deafening gunfire filling the air as Vera sprinted with the other ODSTs behind cover amongst the trees and rocks in the valley. The covenant had arrived and set up base beforehand it seemed. "One of us is down!" Another voice replied. Vera gripped the M319 in her hands, allowing the weapon to break open as she inserted a HE grenade into the weapon and readied herself. She took a slow breath and rose, aiming the reticle towards the second floor of the unremarkable buildings balcony and fired off. The grenade flew out, soaring as it flew past the turret; causing Vera to release the trigger. A brief scream of horror filled the room but was overwhelmed by the sudden blast as a body of a grunt was blown from inside and out into the dirt and the turret destroyed and transformed into a mess of metal. "Turret down!"
